Future Movie Review(s)

I will be taking my daughter and possibly he friend to see alvin and

the Chipmunks this weekend. I wanted to see one for myself today as

well, and I'm supposed to be reviewing it for my gig at

filmmonthly.com, but it's not showing anywhere near here, just two

theatres in the city of Chicago proper, and another in Evanston which

may as well be in Chicago. I'm not driving an hour to see a movie.

The movie I want to see is Juno. It looks so good. Like all good

indies, I'm sure it will make it out here eventually, but by then it

will be too late to do a review for FM. I also have a few advanced

DVDs that will be out next month in stores to review this weekend.

One is Beyond the Ring, a mixed martial arts film, and the other is

Bag Boy, a Farrelly Brothers/National Lampoon collaboration.
