Jackie Doesn't Like to Be Rushed

I was reading tonight that Jackie Chan doesn't have much respect for
his Rush Hour movies. This is just so surprising to me on so many
different levels. Of course, it has to be said, if you don't like the
first one, why do the other two? That's the obvious question here,
but he's honest enough to admit that he didn't like the first one,
because he didn't necessarily get the American humor. Yet, they
offered him a huge amount of cash to do #2, so he did it. Assumably,
that's why he made #3 as well. I also struggle to understand this as
a martial artist myself. Everything we learn about martial arts is so
against doing stuff just for the money, and selling out your
integrity? White belts learn about having integrity. White belts! I
just don't understand him selling out like this.
